Central Battle District is a team based multiplayer FPS, inspired by the gameplay of Tribes and Unreal Tournament, and is being developed by Armitage. The game is set within the confines of a futuristic city where teams compete against one another to achieve certain objectives.
CBD is currently under development with a public beta set to be released within the near future. CBD will be 100% free to play, and is being developed on a modified version of the Darkplaces Engine.

Reworking the mech
I've overhauled the Mech's movement code, allowing for twisting of the torso up to 90 degrees. Movement around the map looks a hell of a lot more natural now compared to before.
Also, check the blinging new cockpit! Complete with reflection of the pilot in the glass visible under harsh light!

Rooftops2 Complete
Bada bing, another level down. I don't think Rooftops2 will have bot support any time soon though, the instant-kill drop is causing them lots of problems. (especially when using jetpacks)

Paul, I... I...
Overhauled the GEP (guided explosive projectile - thanks Deus Ex!) gun, the missile now heads towards the laser properly rather than the bastardised way it moved around before. Should make the assault trooper a certifiable mech destroyer.

Rooftops2
I'm currently working on redoing the old rooftops level from the early beta tests. I'm making a conscious effort to put more emphasis on multiple pathways to each team's base to prevent the standoffs that occurred on the middle building. The sunset look is working well to differentiate the level from the nighttime street levels.

Musical Talent
Now that development is really kicking into high gear, I'm pleased to say that Julian Francis has kindly offered to produce some musical tracks for use in game. Exciting stuff!
